Application and policy information

• A non-refundable $200.00 deposit is required to reserve a seat on any scheduled tour. You must complete, sign and return your travel application before traveling arrangements can be made.

Passport

You must have a valid U.S. passport in order to travel to Africa. If you do not posses a passport please apply for one immediately. Contact the local U.S. passport office in your city or main post office for application information. Generally, it takes four to six weeks to receive your passport. The cost of the passport is not included in your package price.

Immunization

When traveling to most African countries there are requirements for immunization to be recorded and presented upon your entry into the country. Contact your local county health department, private immunization clinic or private doctor for information. Upon completion of your immunization requirements you will receive a yellow immunization booklet. This booklet should be attached to your passport.

Visa

You must apply for a visa in order to enter most African countries. Adventure in Africa Tours, Inc. will handle this process for you for a nominal fee. The fee varies depending on the country you will tour. Please inquire with an AAT representative for information pertaining to the country you plan to visit.

Payment

All payments can be made by personal check, money order or credit card. In order to process your registration, you must submit a deposit of $200.00. You may pay in monthly installments up 45 days prior to the date of departure.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is optional, but because of cancellations, delays, and unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from traveling, travel insurance is highly recommended. Travel insurance covers the lost of personal items (i.e. cameras, camcorders, and luggage) as well as emergency evacuation. Adventure in Africa Tours, Inc. does not sell travel insurance.
